LumberJill 2019 Holiday Gift Guide

Since we've joined the local circle of makers in the Edmonton area, our appreciation for handmade items and our desire to support local has grown. As the holiday season approaches we encourage you to choose gifts that are made by artisans

in and around this amazing city.

Here are some of the makers we have connected with throughout the year and wanted to feature as part of our Shop Local Holiday Gift Guide.

Bejeweled

Beautiful jewelry handcrafted using quality sterling silver, semi precious stones and copper. Trish has been making jewelry for 15 years. Each piece you buy includes care instructions, anti tarnish tab and a gift box.

You can find Bejeweled as a full-time vendor at the downtown Edmonton Farmers Market new location on 97 St and 103 Ave.

Safe & Hound

Safe & Hound offers high-quality collars and leashes. This brand focused around ethical consumerism by ensuring that real people are paid a real wage, but their products are priced within a range that's accessible for all pet owners. All their collars are made with recycled leather cores and they even offer a recycling program for outgrown and destroyed collars.10% of all profits are donated to Dogs With Wings here in Edmonton.

Raefen Coffee Roasters

If you want fresh coffee, look no further than this small batch coffee roaster called Raefen (sounds like raven) Coffee Roasters. They created a company that is all about Connection Through Coffee. They hope that when you sit down and enjoy their products, it inspires you to connect back to self and enjoy the ritual and comfort a good cup of coffee (or tea) can bring to your day. Also be sure to check out their simple syrup to add a little something special to your beverages.
